The Web-system of the Science of Information Institute (ScII) is temporarily under rearrangement.

alt __ This new web is being constructed including new functionalities that will be launched within the next months. Among others, new features will be created following the objectives of the domusBITae initiative, supported by the ScII together with other institutions of Europe, America and Asia. By this means preliminary steps are given in the endeavour to build an international network of information studies supported by eInfrastructures and the receptly founded International Society of Information Studies.
Information is a key element in all physical, biological, human and technical structures, systems, perceptions and actions. However, information is scholarly understood in different and apparently irreductible meanings. Aiming at overcoming this segregation, the ScII is dedicated to stimulating the development and recognition of information as a UNIQUE science that crosses traditional scholarly disciplines.

Since 2010, BITagora has been maintained by the ScII -in colaboration with BITrum Research Group- as an interdisciplinary arena on information concerns publishing interviews, books reviews, gathering reports and thematic discussions. The arena is open to contributions arisen from any of the crossroads targeted by the ScII, who kindly invites to make new contribution
